INCLUSION MANAGER / SENCO WITH POTENTIAL ASSISTANT HEAD TEACHER OPPORTUNITY
Pay Scale: MPS/UPS plus TLR Responsibility for SENCO position or
for AHT position Leadership Scale 3 - 7
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and outstanding teacher to take on the role of Inclusion Manager/SENCO at our school and have teaching responsibility for a Year 3 class.
Depending on qualifications and experience there will also be an opportunity for the right candidate to join us as an Assistant Head, with further responsibilities being discussed with the successful applicant.
Ideally, we are looking for applicants with previous experience working as a SENCO and who have already completed the National Award for SEN Coordination. The successful candidate will be part of the senior leadership team.
This strategic role will include leading, developing and supporting effective practice for children with special and additional needs, along with developing teachers to provide 'quality first' teaching, remove barriers to learning and early identification of special need. The role will also include responsibility for the PPG strategy and for the progress of EAL pupils, other vulnerable groups and pastoral support.
