The adult formation team are available to support parishes in developing Parish Pastoral Councils, in facilitating meetings and away days for existing teams.
Building Communities of Hope
This is a course of six sessions for Parish and Deanery Pastoral Councils.
The aim of the course is to explore questions of leadership and collaboration in parishes and deaneries. It is open to those establishing Parish/Deanery Pastoral Councils and as ongoing formation for those councils already in existence. There is flexibility within the sessions to respond to the needs of particular parishes or deaneries.
Who is it for? Priests, Deacons, Parish and Deanery Pastoral Councillors, Parish Assistants and Parish Sisters.

The roles and ministries involved in Pastoral Councils
Questions surrounding ‘Consensus’ and ‘Consultative’
Models of Pastoral Councils
Decision making and resolving conflict
